Tsuchida Ayana, a 27-year-old novelist who has published two books to date and is currently writing her third. She usually works part-time at a second-hand clothing store and has a boyfriend, but due to various past romantic experiences, she has avoided "falling in love properly" and "facing someone properly." Suddenly, Ayana begins to wonder, "How long was it last that I was able to honestly say 'I love you'?" and reflects on her past relationships in order to face her current boyfriend seriously. Despite her hesitation, wondering, "Maybe it's better not to date someone important?" and "What is love anyway?", she moves forward.
